TFA: BB-8 Build:

 

BB-8, sometimes spelled Beebee-Ate,  was a BB unit astromech droid who operated approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor. The droid was at one point operating in the desert of the planet Jakku. It had a domed head, similar to that of R2 series astromech droids, with the bulk of its body made up of a ball that the droid rolled on. BB-8 was mostly white, with some silver and orange on its body, as well as a black eye-piece.

 

This is a Work In Progress and will take a bit of time to compleate.

E-11 Blaster - Empire Strikes Back:

 

This project was based on the screen used E-11's in Empire Strikes Back. The E-11 blaster rifle props used in A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back were built from a British-made Sterling Mark 4 L2A3 sub-machine gun, The scopes used on the E-11 props were actually World War II tank scopes, most notably the M-38 (but also M40 and M19), used in A New Hope, and the M19 in Empire Strikes Back.

 

This commission build was for a TK in France.

 

Blaster Specifications:

 

  • The blaster is made using a Doopydoos resin blaster kit

  • M19 scope with earth magnets for attaching to scope rail

  • Metal scope rail

  • Custom made spring

  • Aluminum pipe for barrel insert

  • Metal charging bolt with resin cocking hanble

  • Moving selector switch

  • Moving stock attached to barrel with earth magnets

  • Moving trigger

  • Hand painted and weathered

  • M6 bolts fitted

E-11 Blaster - A New Hope:

 

This project was based on the screen used E-11's in A New Hope.   • Moving trigger

DL-44 Blaster - Empire Strikes Back

 

The DL-44 was a powerful, highly modifiable and accurate blaster pistol. It packed a heavy punch compared to other pistols without losing accuracy, which made it a prime choice among many groups and individuals, ranging from smugglers and bounty hunters to military and the Rebellion..

 

This commission build was for a trooper in the UK.

This project was based on the screen used E-11's in A New Hope. DC-17 Blaster - Clone Wars:

 

The DC-17 hand blaster was a model of blaster pistol that was carried by most clone troopers during the Clone Wars, particularly high-ranking commanders, captains, and ARC troopers. .

 

This commission build was for a Clone in the 99th Garrison.

DC-17

Merr-Sonn power 5 Blaster - A New Hope:

 

The Power 5 heavy blaster pistol was a blaster manufactured by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. at some point prior to the Clone Wars. It was a favorite of Nym's private pirate army. It was designed to imitate the more successful BlasTech Industries DL-44 heavy blaster pistol. Like the DL-44, the Power was a high-powered, short-ranged weapon. The Power 5's blaster gas chamber was smaller than that of the DL-44, and not very efficient. As a result the pistol was less powerful, but could fire more bolts per power cell.

 

Like the DL-44, the Power 5 is a "Broomhandle" Mauser C96 with cosmetic attachments. .

 

This commission build was for a trooper in the 99th Garrison.

Merr-Sonn

LPA NN-14 Blaster - TFA

 

The NN-14 blaster pistol was a blaster pistol manufactured by LPA. The blaster featured a compact grip, enlarged power core, reinforced frame, armored body shell, and flash suppressing/stabilizing muzzle. This project will be based on the screen used NN-14 in The Force Awakens. Han Solo owned one such pistol, but he later gave it to the scavenger Rey, who went on to use the blaster against the First Order. When she went to find Luke Skywalker, she was seen with a holstered NN-14. .

 

This commission build was for a trooper in the 99th Garrison.
