Esther Rimington / The Last Aerie.
After an asteroid impacts Maas-Danta, humanity attempts to rebuild. Sheltered in last great aerie of the Shadowborn, survivors emerge years after impact to a devastated planet. Mankind survived in struggling settlements until the great war started, the War of the Last Aerie.
The spoils of war will be revenge, territory, blood, of course - the sweet, SWEET BLOOD. For when life is threatened there's only one course of action: battle to the death!









Part 1: Cinematic Map Navigation.
This project was done as part of my university course, By using Unreal Development Kit (UDK), I was required to create map of any fictional place I liked.There was not a restriction for this requirement, so I could be creative!
I also needed to have a fixed navigation path from one point to another, using a virtual camera. The camera can be single or stereo camera; the requirement is that the navigation path must be tested properly at all time. Whilst there is no requirement to demonstrate interacting skill with the internal object, I was required to demonstrate my skill of:
‐ Lighting,
‐ Texture mapping,
‐ Trees
‐ Fracture structure,
‐ Audio and Particle system.
Part 2: Poster to Market Your Map.
I had to produce a A0 size poster to demonstrate the unique selling point of the map (from Part 1). This then was displayed in the university for people to ask questions about.
